A member of AAMG since 1989, Dr. Novak is board certified in both Anesthesiology and Internal Medicine. He has a special interest in the perioperative care of patients with complex medical problems, and in perioperative medicine for ambulatory surgery. He has served as the Deputy Chief of Anesthesia at Stanford University Hospital from 2001 to the present. He is a Delegate from District 4 to the California Society of Anesthesiologists, and the Medical Director of Waverley Surgery Center in Palo Alto. Dr. Novak is a Clinical Associate Professor of Anesthesiology on the adjunct clinical faculty of Stanford University School of Medicine.
