A member of the Associated Anesthesiologists since 1987, Dr. Homer is board certified in Anesthesiology. She has special interests in office-based anesthesia and dental anesthesia. She is a Past-President of the national Society of Office Based Anesthesia. Dr. Homer did volunteer work as an Interplast anesthesiologist since 1982, participating and sometimes leading surgical teams to perform plastic reconstructive surgery on needy children in developing countries. After participating in more than 30 trips she resigned from Interplast, and is now doing volunteer anesthesia work closer to home in a low income dental clinic, Sonrisas, in Half Moon Bay, California. Dr. Homer is a Clinical Associate Professor of Anesthesiology on the adjunct clinical faculty of Stanford University School of Medicine.
